First leg of the quarter-finals UEFA Champions League and Real Madrid were scheduled to travel to Italy to face their 2016-17 Champions League finalist, Juventus. A battle of two footballing giants always provide a neck to neck action. However, Real Madrid came with a different philosophy. Breaking the deadlock in as early as in the 3rd minute, the floodgates opened for the visitors and then followed something which will be remembered for the years to come. Rising to an unnatural height, the 2016 Euro medallist Cristiano Ronaldo, attempted an acrobatic bicycle kick which left every single spectator jaw-dropping. Even the Portuguese’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, looked into a disbelief as he crafted his hands to his head. Zidane himself has scored some breathtaking goals during his tenure in Turin, but that one from Ronaldo was something extraordinary, to say the least.
