Talk about making a style statement in Formula 1 and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton tops the chart all ends up, to say the least. A certain Sebastian Vettel, who arguably needs no introduction, stands just below the Brit when it comes to experimenting with the looks.
The German had a disappointing end to his 2018 Formula 1 season, but he left no stones unturned while attending the FIA Prize Gala recently. While many expected him to come along with his long-term partner Hanna Prater, the 31-year-old rather left his fans in whammy by donning an old-school moustache. He received a mixed reception from the Twitterati.

A shock, yes! But we tend to forget the fact that Vettel has never shied away from experimenting with his looks. So while we are speaking over the topic, let’s take a tour of the German’s timeline and see how it all went right from the beginning.
It is 2007 and Vettel is confirmed as BMW’s test driver for the season. An unfortunate accident involving Kubica though has given Vettel his time to shine. And the German has arrived onto the scenes with a complete mess over his head. This is how he turned up:
It is now 2008 and Vettel has now gained a reputation of being one of the most promising talents on the Formula 1 circuit. It is only in this year that he would go on to become the youngest driver to win a Grand Prix followed by becoming the youngest pole sitter. Termed as “baby Schumi”, Vettel has shown an exhilarating flair, but unfortunately, same cannot be said over his look. HE HAS TRIMMED HIS HAIR SHORT.
Vettel’s sheer brilliance has earned him a seat in Red Bull for the following season (2009) and a new dawn has brought fresh hopes for the German. And for his new sail, Vettel has found a middle ground between extremely long to shortest. He is looking fresh as well as stylish than ever in his new Formula 1 suit.
It is 2013 and Vettel has already entered the league of greats, having won three back-to-back driver’s championship. It is his fourth season to shine and many are branding him to lift the title again. But it seems he has something else in mind. They say with big name comes great responsibility and Vettel has his priorities straight by going blonde.
Four back-to-back World Championships have now made Vettel a force to be reckoned with. His 2014 season, however, has been extremely contrary to that of his previous four as he is now struggling to cope up with a new name, Daniel Ricciardo. They are saying the German is facing extreme reliability issues with the car and that has taken a toll on his career. He now has a messy beard and the pressure is evident.
Vettel has now earned his dream move to Ferrari and the only way from here is up. The German is expecting great things with his new team and fast forward to 2018, has never shied away from being a stud he has always been. Yet again finding a solution to his messy look, Vettel has found a settling ground and is keeping his hairdo as well as the beard in a perfect match.
To add to it, his shades are making him look cooler. So while there has always been some similarities with his hairstyles in the recent seasons, the 31-year-old came up with another shocker of a season. Appearing in front of his fans, Vettel showed up in an extremely bizarre bowl haircut and with no real surprise, received a haptic feedback.
