Gone are the days when you scrunch your nose in disgust at the mention of ‘healthy’. There are innumerable cookbooks, blogs and fitness regimes that make the term as alluring as a shiny object.
Currently, we are obsessing over Danica Patrick and her social media pages. The former F1 racer’s posts are all about gym sessions and healthy dishes, and we want to jump on that bandwagon right now!
Food that looks so good
Danica has always been an advocate for clean and healthy eating. In fact, she has recently also started posting recipes on her Instagram page for her followers to try out. If the food looks so good, we wonder just how delicious it must taste!
In December 2017, she also released a book with Stephen Perrine called Pretty Intense: The 90-Day Mind, Body and Food Plan that will absolutely Change Your Life. Her second book is also currently in the works.
Work that workout

Sizzle session. 😆 Lower body today, so I did this… For time- 10-20-30-20-10 Weighted step ups DB cleans DB squats (11:45, and I used 15’s) . 4sets x 10reps Sumo squat #70 DB deadlift 2 #50’s Leg press #115 . Def don’t be afraid of weights. You can change the size of your body with cardio (yes, I noticed that everyone else was on a cardio machine, it might of been their cardio day or maybe they just don’t know what to do with weights, or MAYBE they are afraid of weights?!?! 🤷🏻♀️all that said, they are in the gym and it’s a saturday👏🏼), but weights are going to change the shape of your body. Plus it’s good for your coordination, flexibility, strength, and bones. The truth is – diets help you lose weight and resistance training changes your body composition. Cardio does help with calorie loss but it breaks down your existing tissues leaving you soft and skinny fat🤦🏻♀️…. Lifting weights builds lean muscle tissue. Weight training burns more calories than cardio. 💪🏼 💥
One look at her abs and you know that she must really work hard in the gym. Considering she is a former Formula One racer, being fit is a must. But Danica has made sure to inculcate those workouts into her daily life even after retiring from the sport. You will often come across videos of her lifting weights, running on the treadmill or breaking a sweat during an intense session.
Couple that has the same interests
Danica is currently in a relationship with Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Considering his ripped physique and toned abs, the QB must keep a disciplined track record of his calorie consumption and work out at least a few hours in the gym. It definitely comes in handy when your partner has the same interests as you!
