The anticipation is slowly building up for the Men’s Hockey World Cup, which will take place in the Indian city of Bhubaneshwar in Odisha from 28th November to 16th December. The hosts India will be heading into the World Cup with a bag of expectations on their shoulders with the young Indian squad pipped to give their best performance on the grandest stage in many years.
In order to further the hype around the tournament and make the people aware of the impending date, which is nearing by, two of the biggest names in the Indian film industry, superstar actor Shah Rukh Khan and music maestro AR Rahman have released a promo for their tribute video for Indian hockey named ‘Jai Hind India’.

It is not the first time that King Khan has been associated with hockey in the country. His 2007 flick ‘Chak De India!’ has been widely credited with starting a hockey revolution in the country and making the people of the nation fall in love with the game again.
It is good to see though that some of the biggest celebrities in the country are trying their level best to promote the upcoming World Cup among the masses.
