It was a tough game between two brilliant sides. On one hand, there was Dabang Delhi and on the other, Telugu Titans. The first match of the second edition started off on a brilliant note as both the teams looked to defend more than attack.
Soon, Hyderabad came to their brutal best. Their star raider Rahul Chaudhary started to make his presence count. Telugu were leading very quickly in the game and the lead was a big one too. At 20-14, there was no stopping for Titans. Delhi tried their best to come back in the game, however, nothing was going in their favour.
Rahul Chaudhary was just too amazing with this raids, converting almost all of them to points. Later on, Deepak also got going an from there on, it became too tough a task for Delhi. The gap in points between Delhi and Hyderabad had widened too much and by the 35th minute, even Delhi fans knew that there was no coming back.
Titans won the game with a good margin of 36-27, giving a kickstart to their PKL campaign in the second season. The match will be remembered for the dominance of Telugu Titans and how Delhi, despite possessing some of the best players in the game, lacked the firepower to go the extra mile. Fans, however, enjoyed the spectacle on offer.
