Toronto based fashion designer Eske Schiralli started with producing small accessories such as fanny packs and shoulder bags, offering a full garment customization service in lieu of higher-end tech wear brands.
Turning his dreams into reality, the designer recently collaborated with German sportswear brand, Adidas for the Toronto League launching the Unique Tango Collection with @m.a.d.mfg x @adidasca capsule.
Schiralli draws inspiration from a wide variety of sources such as clothing brands, fashion designers, movies and television shows, magazines, and even video games. His style is an amalgamation of eastern and western culture.
To answer how he got the idea of this collection, the designer had to say, that his aim with the m.a.d.mfg x Adidasca capsule was to regenerate sport performance gear of the future from the point of view of the garments, taking the approach of how they would evolve as being themselves rather than products of a human designer.
About the Collection:
It is a limited capsule collection and comprises of reworked adidas Tiro pants, which see a floral design split across the Three Stripes (the iconic Adidas logo), and a Woven Cropped Jacket that carries the monicker ‘MADIDAS’.
True to its name, it literally and figuratively weaves together the legacy of Adidas with the core elements of MAD.
It features a design that uses loosely hand woven panels of three Adidas performance fabrics along with denim, fleece and ripstop. The construction of the jackets is wild with cut-and-stitch. It has a pattern of lattice and lace.
Adidas Canada took to their Instagram to share a video, more like a teaser, to share the news of this collection launch.
The m.a.d.mfg x adidasca collection is set to be released at the Tango League in Toronto this weekend (16th March 2019).
All of this will be on show at Adidas’ Tango League, 16th March in Toronto, where you’ll also be able to customize your own pair of Tiro Pants on-site.
