Legendary women’s tennis icon Chris Evert, winner of a staggering 18 Grand Slams in her career has decided to sell her plush Florida mansion for £4m.
With the sale, Evert has turned a healthy profit on her investment as she had initially bought the mansion for £2m. She had bought the house with her ex-husband Andy Mill in 2003.
Evert has very fond memories of the mansion as he raised her three boys there but all of them are over 21 now and have moved out of the property in Boca Raton.
The luxurious mansion is not short on amenities being more than 12,000 square foot in space and has a garage which is equipped to park 9 cars.
The house also comes equipped with a swimming pool an also had two guest houses as Evert was known to be a gracious host.
Evert being one of the best tennis players of all-time, it should not be a surprise to anyone that the house also had a full-sized tennis court.
Evert is also known to be a big fan of golfing and the home had a putting green within its boundaries.
The Boca Raton mansion was also comes equipped with a gourmet kitchen, a fully-equipped gym, seven bedrooms, a full-sized snooker table and a mini kitchen on the terraces for a barbecue.
With such amenities, there is no doubt that somewhere in her heart, Evert will surely miss the mansion.
