When the world’s No. 1 tennis player launches a special sports shoe, you know it is going to be great and contains a variety of features. Asics, the Japanese sports equipment brand, earlier this month released a special shoe based on the insights provided by ace tennis player, Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic used to wear the Barricade model of Adidas but switched to Asics in January 2018. He considers the footwear to be “technologically astute” and enjoys the support it provides on the court. Djokovic even spent almost half a year with the team at Asics, coming up with ways to upgrade the shoes.
After Djokovic’s clean sweep win over Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open, Asics announced about the new shoes. The Court FF2 tennis sneakers are an upgrade from the Gel – Court FF. A men’s specific and a women’s specific model of the improvised design has been launched.
Now that it’s available in the market, we will tell you why it is a good pair of shoes. It comes with the Twistruss construction that strives for better agility. To increase the durability and support of the shoes, an updated PU-covered upper and PGuard toe protector have been added to the mix. The FF stands for Flyte Foam which is a cushioning element to maximize the comfort level of the shoes.
Madeline Clarke, core performance sports footwear merchandising manager said while making the announcement: “Built to be the pinnacle tennis model where speed meets stability, durability and comfort are key for athletes who aim to perform at their highest level, and the Court FF 2 is the model to support their needs.”
With the expertise of one of the greatest to ever play the game, we sure know that these new shoes will be the perfect fit for any player!
