Tennis superstar Eugenie Bouchard has agreed for a second date with the lucky fan, who won a date with her after winning a bet against her on the Super Bowl results on Twitter. Bouchard had lost the bet for predicting that the Atlanta Falcons would win the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. When the Atlanta Falcons were 21-0 up, Bouchard was sure that they would win, but the fan, who is a New England Patriots fan still kept the faith with his team and asked Bouchard out for a date, if the Patriots won. Bouchard agreed to it.
Bouchard kept up with her word and took her date, John Goehrke, a 20-year-old student to a basketball game in New York.
She also tweeted regular updates of the date.

After the date, when she was quipped whether she would go on another date with John, she replied with an affirmative ‘Yes’. She said, “For sure! I planned the date. He picked me up at my hotel like a gentleman, then we came over here, he brought me a nice little gift and he enjoyed the game courtside. After all the media attention it got, it was something I could, first of all, not back out of. There was no chance. I was worried, however, when I looked at his Twitter profile as soon as I lost the bet and his profile picture was a picture of Tiger Woods. I was like, ‘It’s one of those Twitter fans. I don’t even know what he looks like. What is going to happen? But it turns out he seems to be a very nice boy.”
It sure seems that love is in the air for Eugenie Bouchard and John Goehrke!
