Mumbai rains have come as a trouble for Mumbaikars but more so for the Bhupathi family. The rains seem to have become a bone of contention between India’s Davis Cup captain Mahesh Bhupathi and his wife Lara Dutta Bhupathi. We are guessing so by what we saw on Twitter.
To stop the rainwater entering the house, Lara Dutta used the towels that Bhupathi has collected in the last so many years from playing in different tennis tournaments all around the world. In the match, those towels are used by players to rub their sweat off their palms so that the grip on the tennis racket is strong. Bhupathi, it appears, had kept towels from US Open, French Open and all the other Grand Slams as a memorabilia at his house.
However, it came to use to his wife Lara Dutta in the Mumbai rains. The actress folded them and used to soak the water coming inside the house.
She posted the picture on her Twitter and wrote, “Putting our Wimbledon, US Open, Aus Open &French Open towels to good use!”

This made Mahesh Bhupathi, as it appears from this tweet, very angry. He did not shy away from showing some to his wife.

We are guessing this was just some playful argument on Twitter by the celebrated couple.
