Indian freestyle wrestler Bajrang Punia started wrestling at the age of 7 and hasn’t looked back ever since. Although his journey has never been an easy one but this 25-year-old has proven his mettle inside the ring time and again and has lived up to his wrestling genetics.
From winning bronze at the 2013 Asian Championships to bagging gold at the Asian and Commonwealth Games in 2018, Bajrang Punia has come a long way despite the obstacles and some serious injuries. With the help of his mentor wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, Punia is now ‘the modern day wrestling master’.
