WWE is by far the most entertaining wrestling platform in the world. With stunning drama and some amazing shows year after year, the millions of fans around the world can’t keep their eyes off it.
Even though the WWE might be facing some of its toughest times currently, there never fails to be a moment where fans won’t get any action, be it in the ring, or outside it.
Former WWE champion Kane a.k.a Glenn Jacobs was known for his destructive nature and demon-like appearance. Even though the ‘Red Monster’ isn’t breaking backs in the ring at the moment, he’s been doing some great work being mayor of his hometown of Knox County in the US.
A retired wrestler, mayor of a town, happy family man and calm peaceful life is what you’d expect from Glenn after his celebrated career in the ring, but recently the world saw a glimpse of the monster living inside the body of this wrestling great.
Kane, switched back to his wrestling moniker while delivering a speech at the National Association of Sports Commissions Symposium at the Knoxville Convention Centre on Tuesday.
The wrestler-turned-politician spoke about the fundamentals of the good aspects of his town when suddenly his mood changed for the worse after an intruder came on the stage and asked the big man to leave.
As the man tried to get Glenn off stage, the demon spoke, “You know who I am, right? Yeah, I’m mayor, but that’s not all.” The lights dim to a bloody red as he puts on his Kane mask and ‘chokeslammed’ the intruder on a table, breaking it to the ground.
Kane then removed the mask as the lights go back to normal, and continued with his speech. He added, “So, as I was saying, welcome to Knox County. I hope you have a wonderful time, and I expect to see you back here very soon…or else.”
Although Kane refused to rule out the possibility of him returning to the ring, we’re sure the demon within him is still very much alive.
